Juxtaposition #32

From Youth (Homecoming):

Medium close-up of a garment worker concentrating so intently on his sewing machine that he doesn't notice that the cigarette he is smoking is half-ashed

From Seeds:

Black-and-white close-up of a a man's face framed in front of the bright sky visible through the window of the truck he's driving whose cigarette is somehow even more ashed than the one in the previous image--it's longer than either the filter or the portion he hasn't smoked yet!
